Hello, my dear glasses lovers. Today I want to show you one of the most important purchases in my collection: a pair of Alain Mikli “Picasso” asymmetrical sunglasses. I had been looking at this brand for a long time.
Vintage Alain Mikli pieces can be very expensive, so for a while I couldn’t bring myself to buy anything. And I specifically wanted something vintage. Then one day, I came across this pair.
They were noticeably more affordable than similar models — most likely because they came with prescription lenses from the previous owner. I didn’t mind that at all. I usually replace the lenses anyway, so for me, this was actually a perfect deal.
I talk about the whole story in my video, but I can say here that I immediately fell in love with them.
They are bold, unusual, full of character — and surprisingly comfortable. These glasses are now part of my collection — you can take a closer look at them in this section.

At first, I believed they were an original piece from the 1980s. So I styled them accordingly: with a vintage sweater and tights, creating a slightly rebellious, 90s-inspired look.
But as it turned out… they weren’t as old as I thought. This realization led me into a small investigation, which I share in detail in the video.
