Wearing my Christian Dior 2030 - The Museum of Glasses

Hi my dear glasses lovers! Today I’m so excited to show you how I style my amazing vintage Christian Dior 2030 and to tell you about this purchase.

How I bought my Christian Dior 2030

First of all let me tell you how I bought them. One evening I was looking through Christian Dior glasses on Ebay. I was checking new arrivals, discounts and auctions. Suddenly I noticed these legendary Christian Dior 2030. The glasses were pre-owned, the frame was bent, in the glasses there were thick prescription lenses of their previous owner. In short the glasses were looking “very tired” but their price was very seductive!

Usually prices of glasses like this start at 700 USD and sometimes go up to 2 000 USD. But the price of these glasses was just 569 USD! And then I decided to bargain a little bit…Well I actually asked for a massive discount! I asked for 400 dollars! And I was so surprised when the seller accepted my offer! Well when I recieved the glasses I understood why, the glasses were really “tired”. The needed to be restored. The full story about this purchase is on my Youtube channel.

How I style my Christian Dior 2030

These glasses are absolutely amazing! They can make anything look retro! They are like a time machine, the moment I wear them they take me to their era. I was sure that these glasses would look good only with a minimalistic outfit.

I realized that I was wrong when I tried the glasses on at my optician. I was wearing a long colorful dress and statement beaded necklace. These glasses look amazing with maximalist hippie looks! With their retro vibes you can easily go maximalist and look stunning. For comparison I want to show you these two looks. As you can see both look really good.
