Hi and welcome to the Museum of Glasses. This post is going to be the very first post of my blog. The idea of sharing my glasses collection came to me a few months ago. I know that blogs are not very popular anymore and everyone is on social media but I think the best way to show my glasses is a website. So I’ve built this website and started to show what I have in my collection. Then I thought that maybe it would be too boring to show just glasses and maybe I could share how I style them and what inspires me and how I buy them etc. So I ended up writing this blog post.

Now let’s talk about my new glasses. Dolce&Gabbana DG2202. They were in my wish list on Ebay for some time and their price was about 300 USD. I liked them very much but was not ready to buy them for that price. Then the seller suddenly decided to do an auction for them and made the starting price 218 USD. I’m pretty new on Ebay and I had never participated in auctions. I’m a very curious person and I decided to place bid just to see how it works 🙂 I made it 219 dollars and as a result I was the only one who placed bid, so they announced me the lucky winner of the auction and kindly asked me to pay for the glasses 🙂 So that’s how I became an owner of these glasses. But I’m glad I did.
I love Dolce&Gabbana glasses very much. Their glasses are so beautiful, especially their limited editions and runway glasses. I would buy them all! These glasses have a metal frame of bronze color. The roses are embroidered with sequins on silk fabric. I think these glasses are just a masterpiece. I’m so happy I’ve become an accidental owner of them 🙂
The inspiration for my outfit came from the roses. I choose this blazer with grandmotherly rose print 🙂 It has the same colors as the glasses do and I love how they look together. Skirt also has all the colors of the glasses. And I think that the prints of the skirt and the blazer match good. I’m a big fan of print mixing by the way.
The slippers with sequins complete this outfit well, look good with this turtleneck and are so comfortable to spend a long day in a big city. Actually you can check the video below to see all the details:
