Anglo american “butterfly” glasses
One of the most iconic butterfly designs ever created.
Made by the British brand Anglo American in the 1970s, these glasses are instantly recognisable among vintage eyewear collectors.
What makes them truly special is the playful use of colour. The lenses are divided into two sections, combining warm yellow and soft blue tones that echo the colours of butterfly wings and make the frame feel almost alive.
For me, these glasses became much more than a rare vintage find. They represent a dream I spent years working towards and finally allowed myself to make a reality.
