These Blumarine BM 931 glasses are the oldest and, perhaps, the most meaningful pair in my collection.
I received them from my father when I was fourteen years old. At the time, I simply thought they were the most beautiful glasses I had ever seen. Their unusual upside-down silhouette and sparkling crystal temples looked unlike anything else in the optical store.
Only many years later did I realize that this pair became the true beginning of my journey into the world of extraordinary eyewear. They quietly shaped my taste, my love for unusual design, and eventually inspired me to build The Museum of Glasses.
The frame is remarkably lightweight and elegant, with delicate metalwork and crystal details that still feel fresh decades later. Today, this model has become very difficult to find, making it not only emotionally valuable but also a rare piece of eyewear history.
